Drew Patterson, President

Drew Patterson, a lifelong Gordo resident, has deep roots in our beloved community. Graduating from Gordo High School in 2011, Drew embarked on a path of service and dedication. He honed his skills at the Alabama Fire College, specializing in EMT Basics, before joining the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2015, where he contributes his talents today. In 2020, Drew celebrated his marriage to Katie, and together they embrace the joys of parenthood, raising two precious children, Thomas and Lillianna. Drew's commitment extends to volunteering with the Chamber and Fire Department, showcasing his unwavering support for our town. He is also an active member of Grace Community Church, exemplifying his enduring ties to the Gordo community.

Meg McCrackin, Vice President

Meg, hailing from Gordo, Alabama, and a 2007 graduate of Gordo High School, holds a degree in Healthcare Reimbursement from a Birmingham-based college. In her professional role as a contract auditor, she collaborates with esteemed hospitals like Children's Hospital of Minnesota, the University of Southern California, and Chicago. Meg also contributes to her community as a dedicated school bus driver for Pickens County Schools. Married to her high school sweetheart, Jarrod, they are proud parents to two cherished children, Jemma Ann and Maddox Wells. When they're not supporting their kids' dance and baseball pursuits, the McCrackin family relishes family game nights, Lego gatherings, and lively kitchen dance-offs. As the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce with over four years of volunteering, Meg McCrackin is passionate about curating local events that keep the community thriving, allowing residents to enjoy quality experiences right in Gordo.

Jessica Corbin, Treasurer

Jessica, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Clay-Chalkville High School in 2007. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Meeting Management from the University of Alabama. In 2014, Jessica tied the knot with her husband Blake, and together, they are proud parents of two children, Kaelyn Rose and Mills. Jessica holds the role of Branch Manager for the Gordo location at BankFirst Financial Services. When she's not immersed in her professional responsibilities, Jessica dedicates her free time to community service through her involvement with the Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce and Gordo Rotary Club. Outside her volunteering commitments, she cherishes moments with family and friends. In her capacity as Treasurer, Jessica actively contributes to the Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce's mission and vision.

Tara Cargile, Secretary

Tara, a lifelong resident of Gordo, has dedicated her life to the community. Following her graduation from Gordo High School, she pursued her passion for education, earning a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama. Tara currently serves as a 6th-grade educator at Gordo Elementary School. She shares her life with her husband, Josh Cargile, and their beloved daughter, Marlaina. Outside of her professional commitments, Tara enjoys engaging in activities like shopping, camping, and creating cherished memories with friends and family. With a Chamber involvement dating back to 2018, she has been a valuable asset and currently holds the position of Secretary. Witnessing successful projects that enhance the community brings her immense satisfaction and pride, reinforcing her commitment to Gordo's growth and prosperity.

Kaleb Beams

Kaleb, a Gordo, Alabama native, holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alabama and a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. He serves as a dedicated member of the 24th Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and is an active leader in the Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce, where he served as President from 2020 to 2023. Kaleb also contributes his expertise to the Pickens County Industrial Development Board, demonstrating his commitment to community growth and prosperity. In addition, he is the owner of Beams Management and Services, a social media marketing company, further enriching his impact in the community. In 2022, Kaleb and his wife, Blair, exchanged vows, and they eagerly anticipate welcoming their first child in 2024, adding another layer of joy to their life together.

Cameron Sanders

Cameron grew up in Gordo, Alabama and graduated from Gordo High School in 2011. He is a graduate of Troy University in 2016, earning a Bachelors in Sports Management and General Business. Sanders later attended Mississippi State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Poultry Science in 2018. He returned to Gordo in 2017 and is currently employed at Peco Foods, serving as Director of Animal Health & Welfare and Sustainability. Cameron enjoys being apart of a dedicated group of volunteers committed to making a difference for the local businesses and citizens of the Gordo community.
